I am a little pc illiterate, but I'm trying to use the Hammerhead program, and I cannot for the life of me open when clicking on the hammer icon. A black box saying groovy stays on screen, lower hammerhead icon says access denied! What can be done?
You need to run the Hammerhead (Hammer.exe) program as an Administrator. This is how I do it in Windows Vista (32-bit version).1 - Find the Hammer.exe file in windows explorer, (mine was under c:\program files\hammerhead\) 2 - Right click on the program, select properties, go to the compatibility tab and tick the box that says "run this program as an administrator". 3 - Click OK to save the changes.4 - Double click hammer.exe to launch the program. The "Groovy" screen will then disappear and you can start making beats! It worked for me!Good Luck!RegardsNeil PaddockPS Watch my Hammerhead video at:www.howtoprogramdrums.com/free-drum-machines-to-try-out-hammerhead-1-0/
