To fix the problem, simply right click the program and select 'Run as administrator' and everything should work fine. Let me know how you go!

I used to use hammerhead on the old XP and it worked, but now that I DLed it for my new computer with Vista, it's not working at all. No sound. :(

I'm having the same difficulty with the new windows. If anyone knows of a patch to fix this it would be great. i've used this program for years, and it is very simple but versatile, so i'd hate to have to stop using it because of this problem.

I just right-clicked on the .exe and ran the program as an administrator. works fine now. hope this helps other people. MAN, i love this program!
