ive got a program called 'switch sound file converter' witch can convert most audio files u can download it free from NCH SOFTWARE home page

you download LAME, which is a free MP3 convertor. Also useful in AUDACITY, also free.
There are several tutorials for both lame and audacity on youtube which talk you through conversion to MP3.
