"This program is good but it isnt as good as other programs like stinburg beatbox and fruity loops.My advice to anyone who is making a serious tune, is to get one of these programs, then you will see quality.I do have to give hamerhead a good review though because it was the first one i used and is fun to play with. If it wasnt for hamerhead I wouldnt be making music now. 9/10"

"This program is amazing. I've been using it for over 3.5 years now. I've learned how to do so many things with it. It's absolutely perfect for creating drum patterns for Hip-Hop and Drum & Bass. ESPECIALLY with your own sounds. I've come to realize that its beauty lies within its' simplicity of use. Hammerhead coupled with Sonic Foundry's ACID, and using sounds sampled from SoundForge imported into UserBank... this little puppy is unstoppable. :)
I advise everyone I know to use this... cause it creates such HARD drum tracks. CLEAN sounding, Perfect loops with Kiks that KNOCK. If you're into d&b and Hip-hop... you know how important that is.

"I've tried several other software drum machines, but Hammerhead is the best one I've found. I've been using it faithfully for a couple of months and have suggested it to many other people. If you are into creating drum loops for industrial, dance, rap, etc., this is the best route to go. It is free, easy to use, has killer sounds, and is extremely stable. Hammerhead should be given five stars, I have nothing negative at all to say about Hammerhead - it's that good!"

"I got hammerhead about nine months ago to make drum parts for indie rock songs and I think that it is perfect if you are recording your songs on PC. It is incredibly easy to use and you can tons of drum sounds from this site here, so I really recommend it. Other stuff I've seen on the net for making drum parts has been too complicated to use or the free version has been too limited. I definitely definitely definitely suggest getting this software."
